Neubau research

Neubau is a design house based in Berlin. It was brought to my attention that I could incorporate features from a playful interactive campaign they produced to my lined shapes idea.

This poster and badge based campaign called 'Youth International Party' was developed my Neubau in 2015 for the 'Bring the War Home' exhibition in February 2016 at KK London. The concept behind the the posters is the conveyance of the youth international party behind rebels of their time and inspiring the viewer to deface the posters. This creates very interesting abstract forms and gets people on the street actively involved in the campaign, making it very effective.

The way in which this theme could be applied to my idea is via a series of shape specific posters that feature either a circle, square or triangle with the diagonal etc lines. People are then encouraged to rip the posters via perforated lines and take elements of each pattern home to create an entirely unique pattern. To further this aesthetic again I could look into doing something with acetate to continue to line moire theme I have been researching.
