Today was a little disjointed due to the inductions taking place so I was only in with a few group members in the afternoon. However, we pushed on with further refining the identity and deciding what we would work on over the weekend.
Thinks that we can work on:
- hierarchies of genres in the format of Darwin's trees of life
- evolution of typography and music design
- pictograms for genres or wayfinding
- invitations made in a unique and individual way e.g. glove idea
- Bodoni for typography?
- Archive book of the micro-genres for cassette and flag
- stands or shelving for cassettes
- earthy, brown, black colour, red, green, natural, beige colours
- booklet for publication of categorisation of genre's
- Using the O as a placeholder
For Monday:
- conduct some research
- start to develop the mood of the identity - once we have a defined identity everything else will follow
- work on some initial logotype ideas
