Colour Theory research book crit

I went into the crit knowing I haven't really managed my time well enough this project. The relatively uninspiring brief came as a bit of a shock and the freedom took some adaption after a very structured two weeks of group work in PPP. This is disappointing because I do think I can deal with fairly minimal briefs in a lateral way most of the time. I feel I just didn't approach this week in the right way. I was preoccupied with trying to tick boxes and didn't fully immerse myself in my work. I needed to focus on ways of making the work fun instead of just condemning it from day one. One element of my work that was strong was the idea of borrowing colours from my photographs to experiment within vibrating boundaries. I think the progression of the project should involve more photography or at least start with a set of well composed and thought out photos that then spark ideas for relevant innovations.

Peers enjoyed my work on vibrating boundaries however the other two theories were unfinished, making for a confused publication that needs some more work over the coming weeks.
